Self-Hosted AI Agent

About this site

Self-Hosted AI Agent answers the questions people ask when they run their own AI agent, such as OpenClaw or Hermes Agent: which computer should run it, what it costs, and how to keep it from doing damage.

Who makes it

I'm Tyler Mayberry, an AI systems builder in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I built ibara, free, open-source software that gives an AI agent a computer of its own, and I run my own agents on five computers: two old mini PCs, two office-surplus Dell OptiPlex desktops and a newer mini PC.

The ads

The boxes marked "Ad · my business" are for Cirlet, my business: I set up agents on computers people own, and keep them running if they want. They're the only ads on the site. Nobody pays to be mentioned. The pages name products because they answer the question, and the ad links are marked as sponsored.

How the pages are checked

Facts come from each project's own documentation and pricing pages first, then from reputable reporting. Each page lists its sources and the date it was last updated. Prices and versions change quickly, so check the date. If something is wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.

Privacy

The site sets no cookies and has no forms or accounts. The tool on the home page runs in your browser: nothing you pick is sent anywhere. The site is served by Cloudflare.
